Our Favorite Baby Products
I try not to get sucked into consumerism as a basic rule, but when I was pregnant and had our baby, it seemed like consumerism was being forced down my throat. I also noticed that because I felt like my life was flipped on its head, consumerism was there for me to feel like I was “in control.” I thought, “oh, well if I am SO prepared with the BEST items, parenthood will be a breeze, right?” Lol – I chuckle at myself just thinking of that. Parenthood has offered such a beautiful reminder to reflect on my thoughts and behaviors and I thrive to be better for my baby. So anyway, just a little tidbit on recognizing our thought patterns and reflecting on if it’s worth it to continue energizing those patterns. For me, I quickly realized that having more stuff wouldn’t make my mothering or baby any better. What I did learn was important to me was having minimal products that were necessary, but were good quality would last a long time. So I started hunting for quality products and brands that I could trust.
